Pop-up Pumpkin Shop

 The Pumpkin House is decorated with over 1,000 pumpkins and handmade out of wood. Located in North Norfolk, it is the creation of husband and wife team Henry and Victoria Cushing on their family farm. Visitors walk through a wooded trail decorated with pumpkins and scarecrows to reach the Pumpkin House. Photographs can be taken inside and you can choose our own perfect Jack o lantern from the Pumpkin House shelves.

For the first time ever we will be selling Christmas Trees from The Pumpkin House. The house itself will be decorated with a beautiful wreath and lots of lights.


Come and choose your perfect tree - we have lots of different sizes available. Whilst you decide.... listen to our musical organ playing Christmas tunes, enjoy a hot chocolate and mince pie and let the children explore our Elf maze!

Open weekends only on 27/28 November and 4/5 December 10am - 4pm.

The Pumpkin House, Thursford

How does it work

There is no need to book. Please park in the farmyard and follow the signs through the wooded walk. On arrival at the field please select any pumpkin you would like from the Pumpkin House shelves. Then take it to the Shepherds Hut and pay. Standard pumpkins are £4.50 and include a free leaflet all about pumpkins. Feel free to take as many photographs as you like.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We will accept cash and have a card machine (which works most of the time!)

Parking

There is plenty of free parking. Please note the Pumpkin House is in a field so please wear appropriate footwear and note that the path may be uneven and muddy. Please come prepared for mud. We are a working farm. Please look out for tractors, trailers etc and do not wander the farm - it could be dangerous.

Is there an admission fee to The Pumpkin House, Thursford?

No it is completely FREE to visit. Pumpkins are priced individually and all include a free how to guide with tips on carving, recipe ideas and how to grow your own.

Dogs

Unfortunately as we are a working livestock farm no dogs are allowed on the farm.

Our address is Brookhill Farm, Fakenham Road, Thursford, NR21 0BD. We are located just off the A148 between Holt and Fakenham and you can’t miss us!  

Is there a cafe onsite?

Yes we will be serving a range of hot drinks, delicious cakes and other treats.

Can I bring a picnic

No unfortunately picnics arent allowed

Do you have toilets

We will have a customer toilet on site.

Is there anything else to do?

In addition to buying a pumpkin, you can enjoy the musical organ, look at our vintage farm machinery and explore the wooded walk all for FREE. The hay bale maze, Hay Play and purchases from the cafe are charged for.

Coronavirus

There will be hand sanitiser available on site and lots of space to move around. Please be aware of other people and keep 2m apart where you can. The event is entirely outdoors apart from the marquee which will have open sides.
