The Pumpkin House is a seasonal family attraction set on a working farm in Thursford, North Norfolk. Created by husband-and-wife team Henry and Victoria Cushing, The Pumpkin House offers families the chance to enjoy simple countryside fun in a relaxed farm setting.

Throughout the year we open the farm for seasonal attractions where visitors can explore the outdoors, enjoy farm themed activities and spend time together in the Norfolk countryside.

There is plenty to enjoy when visiting The Pumpkin House. Our main attractions give families the chance to get outside, explore the farm and enjoy time together in the countryside.
Things to Do at The Pumpkin House
If you are looking for things to do in Norfolk, there is something for everyone to enjoy at The Pumpkin House.
Attractions include:

Getting lost in our giant maize maze.

Playing a round on our 9 hole mini adventure golf course.

Hay bale towers, tractor tyre sand pits, mud kitchens and hay play for children (seasonal).

Family games such as hoopla, welly wanging and tin can alley.

Delicious refreshments including proper coffee, ice creams and hot chocolate.

Picking your pumpkin from the Pumpkin House (October only).

Music from our original musical organ.

A large car park and an easy to find countryside location.
What’s On at The Pumpkin House
In addition to our seasonal attractions, we occasionally host special themed weekends on the farm.
Medieval Weekend
18th and 19th October 2026
Step back in time and experience a medieval themed weekend at The Pumpkin House. Visitors will be able to enjoy a unique countryside atmosphere with themed entertainment and activities taking place around the farm.

Big Machines Weekend
To Be Confirmed
Come and see our Big Machines - including Combines, tractors and trailers. Visitors can climb up to the combine cab and pretend to Harvest the crops!
