Pop-up Pumpkin Shop

 The Pumpkin House is decorated with over 1,000 pumpkins and handmade out of wood. Located in North Norfolk, it is the creation of husband and wife team Henry and Victoria Cushing on their family farm. Visitors walk through a wooded trail decorated with pumpkins and scarecrows to reach the Pumpkin House. Photographs can be taken inside and you can choose our own perfect Jack o lantern from the Pumpkin House shelves.

Halloween 2020


Halloween 2020: Friday 30th will be our last day and we will close at 1pm. 

We are opening this year as normal! New for 2020 a special Miniature Pumpkin House will be open, perfect for any visiting little witches and wizards. Plus the haybale maze, pumpkin totem poles and the musical organ will all be back as usual. Further details to follow so please check back.


Our address is Brookhill Farm, Fakenham Road, Thursford NR210BD. We are located just off the A148 between Holt and can’t miss us! We will be closing on Friday 30th at 1pm. We will be sold out by then! 



We will be following all government guidelines and change our policies as required .

The Pumpkin House has put in place the following policies to reduce Coronavirus transmission. Please read these before you visit.

Do not visit if you’re unwell.

Please do not visit in groups larger than 6

Please adhere to the social distancing measures in place

There is a one way system in place around the site – please follow it.

No booking is required however if we reach maximum capacity on the site we may have to temporarily restrict access and ask customers to return when its quieter.

Face coverings are not mandatory as everything is outside.

Please be patient, respect staff and other customers. Keep a minimum of 1 metre away from others at all times. Parents must supervise their children at all times.

It will be one family group inside the Pumpkin House at a time

Use the hand sanitiser provided

Use contactless payment where possible.

We have lots of space for everyone to enjoy The Pumpkin House so do come and visit us

How does it work

There is no need to book. Please park in the farmyard and follow the signs through the wooded walk. On arrival at the field please select any pumpkin you would like from the Pumpkin House shelves. Then take it to the Shepherds Hut and pay. Standard pumpkins are £4.50 and include a free leaflet all about pumpkins. Feel free to take as many photographs as you like.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We will accept cash and have a card machine (which works most of the time!)


There is plenty of free parking. Please note the Pumpkin House is in a field so please wear appropriate footwear and note that the path may be uneven and muddy. Please drive slowly on the site as there will be children around.

Is there an admission fee to The Pumpkin House, Thursford?

No it is completely FREE to visit. Pumpkins are priced individually and all include a free how to guide with tips on carving, recipe ideas and how to grow your own.


Unfortunately as we are a working livestock farm no dogs are allowed on the farm.

Is there a cafe onsite?

From Saturday 24th we will have the Village Van on-site which sells hot drinks and cake and biscuits to takeaway. 

Can I bring a picnic

No unfortunately picnics arent allowed

Do you have toilets

There are no toilet facilities onsite.

Is there anything else to do?

In addition to buying a pumpkin, you can enjoy the musical organ, look at our vintage farm machinery and explore the wooded walk all for FREE. The hay bale maze and purchases from the Hungry Hut are priced as marked.
