Attractions at The Pumpkin House
If you are looking for what’s on in North Norfolk, The Pumpkin House offers a range of seasonal attractions for families to enjoy throughout the year.
Located on our family farm in Thursford, visitors can enjoy outdoor activities, countryside experiences and family friendly attractions during our seasonal opening periods.

Some of the main attractions at The Pumpkin House include:

Getting lost in the maize maze, open during the summer months

Enjoying a game of golf on our 9-hole mini adventure golf course

Visiting the famous Pumpkin House, decorated with hundreds of pumpkins during the autumn season

Hay bale towers, tractor sand pits, mud kitchens and hay play for children (depending on the season)

Delicious refreshments including proper coffee, ice creams and hot chocolate
Visitors can relax and enjoy the countryside setting while children explore the farm and outdoor play areas.
Upcoming Events
Alongside our seasonal attractions we occasionally host special events and themed weekends on the farm.

18th and 19th October 2026
Medieval Weekend
The Norfolk and Norwich Medieval Association will bring history to life with an immersive 14th century living history camp. Visitors can enjoy costumed re-enactors, traditional crafts and skills, medieval coin striking, have a go archery and even a working perrier used to launch pumpkins.

Entry for this weekend is £2 per person, payable on the gate.

Live Music
Enjoy live music at The Pumpkin House over lunchtime while exploring the farm and enjoying the autumn atmosphere.

Fancy Dress Competition
Join us at 2pm for our Halloween fancy dress competition with prizes to be won.
